Entre copas y lamentos un viaje de amor perdido… En la penumbra de mi alma, se agita un torbellino de emociones que amenaza con consumirme. Quiero encontrar en el alcohol el bálsamo que calme este loco amor, esta agonía que más que amor es un sufrir sin fin.
Aquí estoy, dispuesto a borrar los recuerdos que atormentan mi mente, a ahogar en las profundidades de una copa los besos de otra boca que me persiguen sin tregua.
¿Por qué este amor que fue efímero sigue causándome esta cruel preocupación? Levanto la copa para olvidar mi obstinación, para cerrar los ojos y no volver a recordar su risa loca, su respiración ardiente junto a mi boca.
Pero la angustia me consume, el sentimiento de abandono y la certeza de que pronto otro ocupará el lugar que alguna vez fue mío. No quiero rebajarme, ni suplicar, ni llorar ante su ausencia.
En esta noche negra y sin estrellas, donde las rosas muertas de mi juventud caen una a una, gimo junto al lamento del bandoneón, buscando en su tango gris un eco de mi dolor.
Las copas traen consuelo momentáneo, y yo estoy aquí, dispuesto a ahogar mis desvelos de una vez por todas. Quiero embriagar mi corazón para después poder brindar, no por los éxitos, sino por los fracasos del amor que me han llevado a este abismo de nostalgia y angustia.
¡Hermano! No quiero más esta tristeza, esta sensación de vacío. Desde mi triste soledad, veo caer las rosas muertas y me pregunto si algún día podré volver a amar sin miedo, sin este peso en el pecho que me consume y me atormenta…
